Made of rugged 1" steel tubing for long lasting service, Gillis Ladders represent quality. Designed with double deep 14" top step, these ladders feature the largest standard top step on the market today. 1-5 step ladders feature retractable spring-loaded casters for easy handling. 6-16 step ladders feature our Saf-T-Lock mechanism which releases the 2 front swivel casters when the user steps on the first step. When ready to roll the ladder again, simply step on the full length tube allowing the user to easily raise the ladder back onto the casters. Both tread styles are self-cleaning to minimize dirt build up. All ladders come standard with reinforced crutch tips for longer life. Ladders 4-12 step with a handrail feature a 30"H. guardrail around the top step. 13-16 step ladders have a 42"H. guardrail around the top step. 42" handrails as well as 2 different outrigger diminsions to meet stringent CAL-OSHA guidelines.
